A lot of time has passed since I've last posted anything. I moved in March, and had very little access to any comp/net connections in general. And a lot of things have changed in money and processing. Even though we had paternity testing done, and have already paid $900AUD for it, the Department of Immigration in Australia changed their minds and told us we needed to get another test done using facilities they've chosen for us. So that was another $900AUD. However, after weeks of fighting and waiting, Alexis is finally an Australian Citizen.

Onwards. We are now applying for DeFacto instead of Prospective Marriage. It means I can stay in the country during the process, and we're already in a 'spousal' type relationship. Because we have a child, I have a better chance of being approved. The price for the visa however goes up to $2,225AUD instead of $1,120.

Alex obviously already has a passport, and we've already had plane tickets to travel by this point. We are currently staying with Ryan and his family while we work through everything.

I thank you for all of your patience. I'm slowly getting these doodles done, and the ones I've done, scanned and uploaded. I still have a long way to go, but I'm doing the best I can considering the lack of computer access.
